Salve a tutti! Sono tornata con qualche giorno di ritardo, da qualche giorno ho un EEG in testa che mi sta scombussolando tutti i piani xD
Oggi vi parlerò di un personaggio curioso.
Fausto delle Chiaie, classe 1944, è un artista formatosi all'Accademia delle Belle Arti presso la Scuola libera del Nudo di Passeggiata di Ripetta. Autore del Manifesto Infrazionista (1986), espone le sue opere "en plen air" fra l'Ara Pacis ed il Mausoleo di Augusto.
Fra il 1987 ed il 1989 ha esposto le sue opere sulla salita del Pincio, alla Galleria Sciarra e successivamente all'esterno dell'Ara Pacis, dove risiede tutt'ora.
Avendo vissuto per anni a Via Ripetta, dove ho frequentato anche il liceo Artistico, mi capitava di vederlo praticamente tutti i giorni, e il percorso mostra era sempre diverso.

Fausto Delle Chiaie è un artista di strada, e come tale utilizza materiali reperiti "in strada." La sua è un'arte povera, semplice, ma che mira dritta al cuore. La "robaccia" che lui reinventa e la rende opera d'arte.
Ogni giorno prende il treno dalla Sgurgola per montare la sua mostra, 45 opere in totale fra quadri, disegni e piccole installazioni realizzate con pietre, vecchi giocattoli, fiori, monetine, santini. Lui è il custode, l'operatore, il controllore e l'opera stessa. Passando davanti all'Ara Pacis lo si può vedere in piedi di fronte al grande muro di pietra, osservare turisti e passanti frettolosi che transitano incuriositi lì davanti e restano incantanti dalla semplicità e purezza della sua arte, che per pochi attimi distoglie la mente dalla delirante vita di tutti i giorni. Resta lì fino a sera, dopodiché ripone tutte le sue cose in un carrellino e torna a casa. "Chiude" il suo museo :)
Era da molto che desideravo parlare con lui, dopo quasi dieci anni mi sono fatta coraggio ed ho realizzato questo piccolo video. Lui è stato molto disponibile e gentile, abbiamo parlato a lungo, è stato interessante esplorare il suo mondo :)
Abbiamo acquistato una delle sue opere dal titolo Moulin Rouge e ci ha regalato anche un altro disegno!
Se vi capita di passarci fermatevi a parlare con lui, acquistate una sua opera, lasciate qualcosa di vostro (un fermaglio, un bracciale... qualunque cosa!) ne sarà felice!

Hello everyone! I came back a few days late, I have a EEG that's upsetting all my plans xD
Today I'll talk about a curious character.
Fausto Delle Chiaie, born in 1944, is an artist trained at the Academy of Fine Arts at the Scuola libera del Nudo of Passeggiata di Ripetta. Author of the Manifesto Infrazionista (1986), he exhibited his works "en plein air" between the Ara Pacis and the Mausoleum of Augustus.
Between 1987 and 1989 he exhibited his works on the Pincian Hill, in the Galleria Sciarra and later outside the Ara Pacis, where he still resides.
Having lived for years in Via Ripetta, where I also attended the art school, I used to see him almost every day, and the exhibition was always different.
Fausto Delle Chiaie is a street artist, and as such uses materials found "in the street." His art is poor, simple, but hit straight at the heart. He reinvents "trash" and transform it in a work of art.
Each day takes the train from Sgurgola to prepare his exhibition, 45 works in total between paintings, drawings and installations made with small stones, old toys, flowers, coins, holy cards. He is the guardian, the operator, the controller and the work itself. Passing the Ara Pacis you can see him standing in front of the big stone wall, watching curious tourists and hurried passers walking there and remain enchanted by the simplicity and purity of his art, which for a few moments distracts the mind from delusional everyday life. He stay there until the evening, and then puts all his belongings in a trolley and go home. He"close" the museum :)
I wanted to talk to him from very long time, after almost ten years I got courage and I made this little video. He was very helpful and kind, we talked at lot, it was interesting to explore his world :)
We purchased one of his works entitled Moulin Rouge and he gave us another bonus drawing!
If you happen to pass there, stop talking to him, bought one of his works, leave something of your (a brooch, a bracelet... whatever!) He will be happy!
